Greetings!

Hello and welcome to my Social Coordinator Campaign Blog! For those of you who may not know me, I am a 2nd year Biblical Studies student, running for the post of Social Coordinator in the 2008 NEGST student Council Elections. I set this up so that you can learn more about what I hope to do if you vote for me in the upcoming Student council elections. Please feel free to leave your comments by just clicking on the comment box at the end of each article. This is an open forum so you can be as candid as you desire! Hopefully through my one-on-one conversations with you and this forum I can learn more about you and what your needs are as part of the student body, and you can hear some of my ideas on how I can serve you in the capacity of NEGST Student Council - Social Coordinator. Thank you for visiting this site, and if you see anything of interest...PLEASE tell a FRIEND!
Seeking to serve you, for His Glory,
Njeri

Njeri "the girl"

Greai ideas you have here but small matters matter too. what about a plan for the "communion" cups that have found their way to the after chapel tea party and spoilt the fun?

All the best girl!

Silas! Thanks for the insight...
Please elaborate? People are stuck with the cups during tea? Or is 'communion cups' code?If thats the case, all we need to organise (since we know in advance when we are having a communion chapel) is a group to work with the chapel committee (a sort of hospitality team)to collect the cups at the end of the service (pass them down each row, then the team walks down and collects them) then deposit them thereafter to be cleaned...that way more people can get involved in serving the community through in the chapel and more people can have ownership of NEGST chapel generally

Girl, sorry. I meant the small white cups we are using after chapel. You know we are evangelicals here and so tea tottlers. THe white cups seem good enoygh for holy comminion.

Teehee! Ha! Oh! Well, yes tea is very important, I mean can you imagine us just standing around after Chapel talking without a cup in our hands...(or an ndao?)Anyway, unfortunately I'm not sure I can safely promise you anything about ISAR's cups, but I have seen a couple of very clever people coming with their own (big)mugs:)
